Emad Norouzi (b. 1997, Tehran) is a North Vancouver-based painter and mixed-media artist. His paintings and drawings explore identity, memory, and emotional experience, creating open-ended narratives that invite personal reflection. Norouzi has exhibited in Tehran and Dubai, including a Solo Exhibition at Ace Art Gallery, Tehran (2019) and group shows such as “Blue Gold,” Etemad Gallery (2016) and “Caarbon,” Etemad Gallery (2021). He also created the documentary I Am Vahid Jafarnejad (2016–17), a tribute to a close friend and fellow painter. Norouzi continues to develop his practice, creating works that reflect a state of becoming while remaining untitled for viewers to interpret.
